Koh Samed is a small beautiful island in the Southeast vicinity of Bangkok (200 km), in the area of Rayong district. The island is famous for its magnificent beaches and for the well-known Thai poet, Sunthornpuh, who wrote poetry about this place.

A part of Koh Samed belongs to the National Park Kaow Laem Ya. The Resort is located directly at the white sandy Ao Phai Beach facing the turquoise blue sea. It was built in 1987, rebuilt and extended in 2003/05/09 and fully renovated in 2011.
